Septième Rebelle Holiday 2025: One Day At A Time
The collection had a clear focus on intricate details on the rear, which contrasts with the simple minimalist design in front
Last week at the Grand Ballroom of the Marriot Hotel, made-to-order label Septième Rebelle presented its Holiday 2025 collection entitled Un Jour Á La Fois (One Day At A Time), urging people to give in, enjoy and explore life. Creative lead Robert Bjorn O. Santos has taken his fondness for art appreciation and translating it into his designs, as seen in this collection. He showcases a contemporary take on beadwork, embroidery and other forms of finishing, such as his signature asymmetric cuts. The accent detailing evokes sexiness and desirability, executed in eye-catching see-through fabrics.

Septieme Rebelle, or “Seventh Rebel,” as designer Robbie Santos’ fashion label is called, is not for the faint of heart. Move over, “Quiet Luxury,” this is luxury lived loud.
Santos, with his “seventh” sense, has tapped into the zeitgeist that inhabits European capitals this season. The spirit is not so much about classic dressing designed to make billionaires look invisible unless you peer closely enough; neither is it about cookie-cutter dressing dictated by behemoth fast-fashion labels. Today’s style totems are highly individualistic, propelled by a desire to look completely like nobody else.
‘Devenir’: Robbie Santos marks seventh anniversary as a fashion designer
In numerology, the number seven or seven years is significant for growth and positive energy. For designer Robbie Santos, his seventh anniversary in the industry is a celebration of beauty and art.
Robbie finished fashion design at the Istituto Marangoni in Paris, subsequently taking courses at Central Saint Martins and the London School of Fashion. In a fashion show titled “Devenir,” which means “to become,” Robbie, the mind behind the fashion brand Septième Rebelle, marked his seventh anniversary as a designer. This 84-look collection was his take on self-actualization through fashion that can be worn from day to night and can easily transition from casual chic to resort wear or even corporate couture to extravagant, evening elegance.

“Business in front, party at the back” is what fashion designer Robert Bjorn O. Santos, nicknamed Robbie, has in mind when working on his creations. That’s exactly what he presented in his first major fashion show, titled Devenir, which took place on 25 October at the Marriott Grand Ballroom of the Manila Marriott Hotel in Pasay City.
“I like giving surprises at the back,” he said in the post-show interview with DAILY TRIBUNE and other publications. “Most of my clothes, there’s something happening somewhere at the back.” Almost always, the surprise turns out sexy.
